Before You Book
We want to give you the best possible experience and treatments. But to make sure you're happy and comfortable, it's really important you take a few minutes to read the below information. Please let us know if any of the below impacts you in anyway, and we will do our best to accommodate any needs you have.

Covid-19.

Please click here for full information regarding Coronavirus and how Spa-To-You will keep you safe.

Pregnancy.

During pregnancy some treatments may not be suitable. Please inform me at time of booking if you are pregnant or if there is a possibility that you are pregnant or breast feeding, so that I can accommodate to your needs as best as possible.

Tinting. Not Currently Available.

A patch test is required at least 24 hours prior to any tinting treatments. Due to our own insurance requirements the patch test must have been carried out by our therapist. Please be advised that we are more than happy to patch test a small area of your skin during any visit, if you think that you may be interested in a tinting treatment in the future.

This is to avoid disappointment at time of any future tinting booking as a record of your test will be kept on file.

To help us make sure that we do our very best for your expectations, health and safety, please tell us as soon as possible during your enquiry if you have or think you may have any illness or allergy that could be aggravated or increased due to any treatment of any kind.

Spray Tanning. Not Currently Available.

There are some important points to follow before and after having a Spray Tan to make sure you get the best possible results.

Preparation for your Tan.

Clients Should exfoliate (with a NON oil based exfoliator), and moisturise (with a NON oil based moisturiser) the day before the tan will be applied. Hair removal should be done at least 24 hours before your Sienna X tan to allow pores time to close. On the day of the treatment shower and exfoliate but do not moisturise, do not apply deodorant, perfume or make up. For full body tans, clients may choose to wear a bikini, or bra and pants. For partial tanning, clothing should be worn that gives access to those areas which need to be tanned. Please be aware that colour may be difficult to remove from some materials. Sienna X Tan will wash out of natural fabrics but not synthetics. During and after treatment please wear either, dark clothing that will not show fine brown overspray or clothing that you do not mind being discoloured. The tan takes a minimum of 5 hours to develop to its full colour strength. All bathing, showering, swimming and vigorous exercise must be avoided during this period. Please note after this 5 hour period, when showering or bathing skin should be patted dry and not rubbed vigorously.

Prolonging your Tan.

Daily moisturising can ensure that your tan lasts up to a maximum of 7-10 days, depending on your skin type, skin care and bathing routine. Spray tan gives no sun protection. We would recommend you still apply spf protection as normal when exposing your skin to the sun.

Contra Indications.

A spray tan is not recommended to clients during the first trimester of pregnancy or to clients who have any open wound.
